Activate Kaspersky Internet Security or Anti-Virus 2011
If you did NOT install Kaspersky Internet Security/Anti-Virus 2011 yet and need to install, please read my post No.1298..


Before you activate the product, make sure the system date is set correctly on your PC!

Step 1
Steps to activate Kaspersky 2011 during installation: (if you already installed Kaspersky 2011, skip to Step 2)

1. select Activate commercial version
2. in the field Activation code enter the activation code (xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx) you obtained when purchasing the license.
3. click the Next button. The Setup Wizard will connect with the Kaspersky Lab server and will download a license key file.
4. once a key file is obtained, an information window is displayed with the license type and its expiry date.

Step 2
Steps to activate a commercial version of installed Kaspersky 2011

1. Open the Kaspersky 2011 window
2. in the right lower corner of the main application window, click License
3. in the License management window, click the button Activate the application with a new license



4. in the Kaspersky 2011 Activation Wizard window, select Activate commercial version
5. in the field Activation code enter the activation code you obtained when purchasing the license. An activation code should be entered from the keyboard in Latin ONLY without any hyphens. The application calculates the number of entered symbols and automatically adds a hyphen where necessary

If an activation code was entered incorrectly, then once you click Next the corresponding message will be displayed. Click the OK button and then re-enter your activation code.

6. in the Kaspersky 2011 Activation Wizard window, click the Next button. The Activation Wizard will connect with the Kaspersky Lab server and will download a license key file.



7. Once a key file is obtained, an information window is displayed with the license type and its expiration date.
8. Close and Run update.
