            ​အ​ေမ​ရိ​ကန္​နိုင္ငံ​၊​​ ​မြန္​ထ​ရယ္​ရွိ​ သက္​ႀကီး​ေစာင့္​ေရွာက္​ေရး​​ ​ေဂ​ဟာ​တစ္​ခု​တြင္​ ​ေန​ထိုင္​ေသာ​​ ​က​မ႓ာ့​အ​သက္​အ​ႀကီး​ဆံုး​​ ​အ​မ်ိဳး​သား​အ​ျဖစ္​ ​မွတ္​တမ္းတင္​ထား​သည့္​​ ေဝၚ​တာ​သည္​ ​၁၈၉၆​​ ​ခု​ႏွစ္​၊​ ​စက္​တင္​ဘာ​​ ​၂၁​ ​ရက္​ေန့​က​ ​ေမြး​ဖြား​ခဲ့​သူ​ျဖစ္​ၿပီး​​ ​လက္​ရွိ​အ​ခ်ိန္​တြင္​​ ​သက္​ရွိ​ထင္​ရွား​ ​လူ​သား​မ်ား​အ​နက္​​ ​စ​တု​တၴ​ ​အ​သက္​အ​ႀကီး​ဆံုး​လည္း​​ ​ျဖစ္​ေန​သည္​။​ ​ဂ​ရက္​ေနာ့​သမ္း​​ ​မီး​ရ​ထား​ ​ဌာ​န​တြင္​​ ​ႏွစ္​ေပါင္း​ ​၅၀​ ​ၾကာ​​ ​လုပ္​ကိုင္​ခဲ့​ေသာ​ ​ေဝၚ​တာ​၏​​ ​ဇ​နီး​ျဖစ္​သူ​ ​အက္​ဂ​နီး​သည္​​ ​၁၉၅၇​ ​ခု​ႏွစ္​က​တည္း​က​​ ​ကြယ္​လြန္​ခဲ့​ၿပီး​ျဖစ္​သည္​။​​ ​အ​လီ​ဂမ္​မွ​ ​အ​သက္​​ ​၁၁၃​ ​ႏွစ္​အ​ရြယ္​ ​ဘ​ရစ္​တန္​ဟင္​န​ရီ​​ ​ေသ​ဆံုး​ၿပီး​ေနာက္​ ​၂၀၀၉​​ ​ခု​ႏွစ္​ ​ဇူ​လိုင္​လ​တြင္​​ ​ေဝၚ​တာ​သည္​ ​ဂင္း​နစ္​​ ​က​မ႓ာ့​မ်တ္​တမ္း​ ​စာ​အုပ္​တြင္​ အ​သက္​အ​ႀကီး​ဆံုး​ ​အ​မ်ိဳး​သား​အ​ျဖစ္​​ ​တ​ရားဝင္​ ​ေဖာ္​ျပ​ျခင္း​​ ​ခံ​ခဲ့​ရ​သည္​။​

         က​မ႓ာ့​အ​သက္​အ​ႀကီး​ဆံုး​​ ​အ​မ်ိဳး​သား​အ​ျဖစ္​ ​မွတ္​တမ္းတင္​ထား​သည့္​​ ​ေဝၚ​တာ​ဘ​ရူ​နင္​၏​ ​၁၁၄​​ ​ႏွစ္​​ ျပည့္​ ေမြး​ေန့​ကို​​ ​ယ​ခု​သီ​တင္း​ပါတ္​အ​တြင္း​က​​ ​က်င္း​ပ​ခဲ့​သည္​။​

          ​ေဝၚ​တာ​က​​ ​တစ္​ႏွစ္​ၿပီး​တစ္​ႏွစ္​​ ​ကုန္​ဆံုး​လာ​ျခင္း​သည္​ ၎​အ​တြက္​ ​လံုး​ဝ​မ​ထူး​ဆန္း​ေတာ့​ေသာ္​လည္း​ ​ၾကံု​ေန​ရ​သ​မ်ွ​ ​အ​ေျပာင္း​အ​လဲ​မ်ား​ကို​ ​သ​ေဘာ​က်​ေၾကာင္း​ ​ေျပာ​ၾကား​ခဲ့​သည္​။​ ​အ​ဖိုး​အို​က​ ​၁၉၀၁​ ​မွ​စ​ၿပီး​ ​ဒါ​ကို​တာ​တြင္​ ​၁၁​ ​ႏွစ္​ၾကာ​မ်ွ​ ​လ်ွပ္​စစ္​မီး​မ​ရွိ​၊​ ​ေရ​မ​ရွိ​၊​ ​မိ​လႅာ​စ​နစ္​မ​ရွိ​ဘဲ​ ​ေန​ထိုင္​ခဲ့​ရ​ေသာ​ ​ကာ​လ​ကို​ ​အ​ေမွာင္​ေခတ္​ဟု​ ျပန္​ေျပာင္း​ေျပာ​ၾကား​ခဲ့​သည္​။​

114-year-old man celebrating birthday

Walter Breuning plans to attend an invitation-only birthday party on Tuesday afternoon at the Rainbow Retirement Community in downtown Great Falls.

He is expected to have cake and deliver a speech at the party that will include Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer and representatives from Guinness World Records.

Breuning was born on Sept. 21, 1896, in Melrose, Minn., and moved to Montana in 1918. He worked for the Great Northern Railway for 50 years.

His wife, Agnes, died in 1957. The couple had no children.
